Who We Are

Chapman Counseling and Consulting is an outpatient mental health practice in Conway, AR (approximately 30 minutes from Little Rock). We service Arkansas (in person and telehealth based of client preference) and South Carolina (telehealth). Our clinic offers the following services:
  • Individual therapy (ages 4+)
  • Family therapy
We offer a variety of services that are not typically offered outpatient for eating disorders.
  • Meal support (individual and group)
  • Meal outings
  • Grocery outings
  • Cooking group
  • Support group
We make every effort to meet each individual where they are. Every individual is worthy of being heard, understood and taken seriously regardless of how their condition presents itself. We strive for early intervention for those starting to struggle with mental illness and fight to educate on how to create a life worth living in the face of mental health struggles. Recovery is possible and no one is beyond hope.
Some of the things we treat (not all):
  • Eating Disorders, Disordered eating, body image concerns, difficult relationships with food, chronic dieting, difficult relationship with exercise
  • Mood and Anxiety Disorders: Depression, anxiety disorders, OCD, Bipolar Disorder, Etc.
  • Phase of life problems: transitions out of college, into marriage and parenthood, retirement, children getting older and leaving home
  • Trauma, PTSD and CPTSD
  • Personality disorders
  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity  Disorder (Both Inattentive and Hyperactive)
We are very familiar with treating the following areas:
  • Military life and transitioning back to the civilian world, dynamics of living in a military family
  • Chronic illness, medically complex individuals, medical invalidation and medical trauma
  • Challenges of parenting a child with high needs (medically complex, intellectual disabilities, learning disabilities, developmental disabilities, mental health struggles, etc.)
  • Treating individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Stressors of working in education
  • Unique challenges of adoption ​, foster care, child loss and infertility
  • Severe and Enduring Eating Disorders (SEED), Severe and Enduring Anorexia Nervosa (SEAN), Atypical Anorexia, Other Specified Feed and Eating Disorder (OSFED), Binge Eating Disorder, Orthorexia, Eating Disorder-Diabetes Mellitus (Diabulimia, ED-DMT1, ED-DMT2) 
  • Treating other individuals in the healthcare field (vicarious trauma experienced by first responders, military personnel, therapists, doctors, nurses and other medical professionals)
  • Borderline Personality Disorder, trauma, Childhood Emotional Neglect
  • Navigating accommodations and the Special Education system: IEP, 504, college accommodations, rights around Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and special education, requesting specific accommodations in all education levels and settings
